Whats The Issue

Whats The Issue

So we have dismantled and disfigured a number of monuments and statues whose likenesses have been slated. The less we embrace who we are and how we all got here, the more difficult it is going to be for everyone, exponentially. How can we move forward if we deny who we are?

I don't care too much for Wolraad Woltemade, by all accounts he was a good man, a God fearing man, a successful dairy farmer, however I fear his statue too is at risk. If the Horse Monument was not safe from the destructive intentions of the monument bashers, then what chance does Wolraad have?

Maybe it is the lack of monuments of the true heroes of the struggle. Maybe it is the total lack of 'monumental erection' that this country is lacking, and so rejecting monuments per say. Okay we erected many many Madiba statues, but there should be one in the hometown of every hero, Chris only got his now. A monument of sorts, whatever, we should not just forget about them and carry on as if their sacrifice does not matter, we are honour bound to honour their wishes because we all share in one ancestry. The ancestral world is a limitless oneness. It belongs to everybody, it is not a personal privilege.

Speaking of oneness, I am so glad we are in on the BRICS thing. They have now amassed a whopping great hundred billion dollars. If I were president I would apply for a loan. I'd use a small portion to put up a statue of myself quickly, somewhere busy, I'd be wearing Armani of course. The rest I would invest in farming and food production. Feed the people, industry will take care of itself. Oh and Petro China just overtook ExxonMobil to become the biggest energy company in the world.

Speaking of presidents I smiled broadly when I heard our neighbour Bob give us advice on how to run our country. Then I think I smiled a little broader when I though to whom the advice was being offered. Then the lights turned green and the lady behind me in her cabriolet hooted.

Presidents are stressful to speak about so lets speak about oneness again rather. There is very little or almost none 'oneness' in Yemen, just an explosive mix of geopolitics and thick black oil. Another place with very limited amounts of oneness is the Ukraine, where the government has started popping out draconian legislation, which no doubt will be used to prop up their legal claims of 'right', after heavy losses to human rights, neigh let me say it a little like it is, to human life!

I wonder if this is not the Bulls Horns tactic in a World domination drive. Or do I? I think I need some serious psychological assistance, I'm seeing conspiracy theories everywhere, even in the announcement of Ballito's acceptance of the UIP catastrophe.

I want a president whose on top of all the conspiracies, one that knows what an amortised loan is. I want a president who will inspire this country with positivity, not one that will tear it apart and try to build it back again, just for spite. Help!
