Whats The Issue?

Whats The Issue?

Date: 2015-03-13
"The ANC in Ekurhuleni is about to decide whether to spend R90-million on service delivery - or on a music festival" This is a news headline that I read recently and as it turns out it seems a given that the money will go to the music festival, at least that is the opinion of Independent Ratepayers' Association chairman and councillor Izak Berg.

Izak is of the firm opinion that although the municipality has not approved the 1.1 Million Rand budget that their finance department has proposed, the council has already decided to spend the money on the festival.

I say Izak, calm down bro, just look at what the eThekwini Municipality is going to spend heir ratepayer's hard earned money on. A commonwealth Games, where the wealth is not common, it is mostly sucked up by the Queen and her cronies.

Well we all sit by and watch the telly while the stuff that spins around outside our windows would normally shock us into outrage. But wait, Isidingo is on, SHHHHHH!!!!!

Out there beyond the reach of our remote control our uneducated president hinted at his family's intention to lodge some land claims while the window of opportunity to do so remained reopened.

So while were arguing about who should hold the remote and which soapy to watch, the government is signing bills and organising or maybe not organising, to spend some two point seven billion Rands on getting our television broadcast to go digital. Around five million lucky homes will get the service for free, or not free but the government will pay for them so the don't have to. And if that is not enough then they will fund some more.

We're talking about priorities here, sport is a priority, marketing is a priority, water err, running water that could be a priority, clinics well maybe and er um education. Education well that could also be a priority. What the Friggin hell is going on?

I tell you what, make me president and I will make education free in this country the very next day. I will encourage private schools colleges and universities, but the government will offer free education to everybody born or naturalised as a citizen of this great land. What is the SACP going to say about that?

Oh well never mind about that. Lets worry about keeping the power on, Medupi power plant produced a few kilowatts recently, light at the end of the tunnel or is it Transnet? Eskom recently came under fire again when plans to remove their white engineers from their positions by 2020, to meet affirmative action targets were revealed. I say cool, go for it, if the have not learnt from the past then lets repeat the lesson. It is so sad.

Anyway, while Putin shows the way to true democracy, the united West shows how clandestine subversion can make you billions of Euro or even make someone or some nation a world dominating superpower. How lovely that is going to be. Pray for Putin, the only light of true Christianity left in this world.
