Other people who are also shutting their mouths are MEC Sizakele Nkosi-Malobane, where the entire world sees Xenophobia raising its ugly head again, she sees only a few random acts of criminality. Were there members of the South African Police Services seen looting in Soweto? Did I hear that? Or is that also unmentionable? Did one radio announcer say that the activity in the area of rioting and looting had reduced greatly, probably because the shops were now empty? Some say bring Anwar Dramat back as head of the HAWKS, but then others disagree.
But the really big problem the world faces now is the NATO backed Ukrainian choice to wage all out war on Rebel separatists in the Eastern region of Ukraine. Civilians are being murdered in their homes and women and children are left without water, food or shelter from the freezing winter weather.
The NATO backed Ukrainian's have not even tried to hide the fact that they are choosing a military offensive against the separatist and ignoring the Minsk agreement and avoiding any possible solution through dialog and not making a single effort towards constitutional reforms and a political solution. Just bring in the Berkut special unit and beat them to submission, seems to be their only solution.
Okay so how I see it, Samantha, the American Ambassador to the UN, is pointing the long finger of blame squarely at Russia. Putin is saying "Have a referendum, have a vote, employ the Democratic system you say you are delivering to the great unwashed? What?" Hypothetically speaking of course that is bnot a direct quote of what Putin is saying. No, I think what he is saying is a lot more pertinent.
And then the Greeks slip out of the net with the first election in many moons to go this way giving the winning party Syriza and their top man Alexis Tsipras the presidency of the country. Problem for the Euro is they are anti austerity, Europe's we-can-stand-in-a-bucket-and-lift-ourselves-up style of economical planning just got shot down by the Greek's left-wing.
That we can worry about, that is good worrying, not like the worrying of America over a dispute in a country where they want to plant a quick missile station, which should actually be them worrying about Boko Haram displaying an unfathomable propensity for vulgar debauchery. Fight the fight of healing a nation of people subjected to violence of this level. Fight the fight of poverty and famine, disease and plague and stop this money mongering power guzzling display of psychopathic leadership. Oh I'm preaching, something Libby Lane can do with more conviction now that she has been consecrated as the Church of England's first female Bishop.
But pray as we are apt to do, sometimes in the face of severe adversity, that things will change.
