Whats The Issue?

Whats The Issue?

Date: 2014-12-19
Power to the people, well that is the catch phrase of most every revolutionary, it is the cornerstone of democracy and yet we the people find ourselves regularly powerless. Okay, granted it may be a different kind of power that we find ourselves wishing for, however the excuse offered by Number One, that after twenty years the power producer that is ESKOM was so severely inadequate when it was handed over to the new dispensation that it only lasted twenty years and now, because of those verkrampt nationalists, the power producer cannot supply us with enough electricity. Oh please, bring back Thabo Mbekhi, an educated man. This phantom number one with his ludicrous excuses is only taking away from the dream Madiba led us to.

Once again a surprising or not so surprising R406-million worth of Navy contracts were awarded to Zuma Trust Founder, Don Mkhwanazi, for ship maintenance and repair. The fact that only one of four frigates bought in the arms deal and one of three submarines are operational must also be the fault of those nasty verkrampt nationalists that were running things before Number One took over.

Our possible future president, Julius, was met at the EFF's national assembly nominations for leaders with the Gauteng arm of the EFF singing anti Malema songs. Julius and Floyd Shivambu were elected despite their objections and the party espoused a capacity for Marxist Communism. I hope they have not read Mein Kampf.

In more serious matters, if you can get them more serious than this, the disturbing news that NATO Commander Philip Breedlove and his boys are seriously destabalising the Europe's Northern territories, the most peaceful place in Europe, with the deployment of nuclear capable aircraft, is so irresponsible it has to have a clandestine objective to be understood. Otherwise why would they do it?

While NATO go about with military drills in Estonia, Russia pulled off a massive surprise military drill that tested their combat rediness. This is not Putin flexing his muscles because he wants a war with America and the EU, this is Putin letting the war mongering NATO leaders know that continuing their ill motivated efforts in the Ukraine could just spark a nuclear conflict and nobody I know wants that.

This comes as the United Nations watchdog brings accusations to bear, on Kiev controlled battalions, for war crimes and human rights violations. The indiscriminate shelling of civilian towns and villages did not go unnoticed. I can't wait to hear the findings of the Dutch crew who are piecing together the puzzle of the Malaysian airline that was shot down over the Ukraine. Russia Today have already aired a program showing their evidence of a Ukrainian airoplane shooting the jet out of the sky.

So merry Christmas, peace on earth and good will to all men is a wonderful idea, I just hope and pray that our collective leadership put their money making agendas behind them and push this principle forward. Please God!
