What's the issue?

What's the issue?

Author: Tomas Yoko

Usually I welcome criticism, it spurs me on, churns my thoughts and adds perspective to my ramblings. However when the criticism is peppered with obnoxious interjection, that is obviously a product of a very skewed political standpoint, and spiced with racial undertones and then garnished with a lathering of the all too overused race card, it tends to just nauseate me. I recently received such a basal commentary on my issues with issues, and as I crumpled it to throw it away, having categorised it as the utter ramblings of a deranged lunatic, I realised that he may not be alone out there, so I decided to try and set the record straight as it were, try and knock some sense into this detractor. Before I do that I must let you know that although I might criticise our magnanimous president, who recently invented a new mathematical numerical system used for interpreting statistics, it does not mean that I hate him. It also does not automatically mean that I am anti ANC, or anti NP for that matter, I'm just anti bad governance. I strive to be open minded, something that does not mix well with politics, as your infantile accusations and ramblings so clearly illustrate, you are a perfect candidate for the political system. (Oh sorry reader, I promised myself not to directly address the imbecile who criticised me in such a juvenile manner, and there I did it. Please note that when I wrote "You" in the last sentence I was talking about the mentally challenged individual who spewed out such drivel I could not sully your eyes with reading it, I did not mean you, I meant him) Just because I criticise No:1, does not mean I automatically hate every member of his race group. That is absurd and immature. To attempt to punish me by removing your support for my business just makes you look like Julius Malema. There, now maybe you think I have paid you a compliment.

OK, so you challenge me, you want me to offer something more than lucid ravings! How would I do it better? What about the mentorship program? Love is a doing word, teach the masses to love. Take a leaf out of the HARE KRSNA's book. Make love a visible action.

Have every able bodied, privileged entrepreneur take on a mentor, teach the mentee what they know or something they can know to help the mentor and his job creating business to prosper, then give them a tax break. Support that as vehemently as you support BBBEE and you will see phenomenal change.

Look at your table, see what you will become. Feed the nation a meal that is close to God, one that generates more of this all-wonderful stuff called Love. Spread the Love, give Love, invite Love into your life and manipulate Love into the lives of those around you, and especially those that you lead. Love your people, is what I suggest should be done by our leader to make this great nation fantastic. Look at how Madiba loved, openly, there is a hint or tip you could follow instead of the hatred and loathing that you seem so ready to propagate and dispense. Ooops I did it again, I referred to him as you. I meant him and not you. Sorry.
