What's the issue?

What's the issue?

Melissa Bachman sure made an ass out of herself by posting that smiley pic of herself with her canned lion. What a cow! Good news is that canned Lion hunting is now banned, so we can expect Lion poaching to go haywire.

Isn't it delightful how we can watch the criminals climb into cars at the traffic lights and spew the passengers out of the SUVs while pilfering their handbags, watches, cell phones and other valuables. How heart warming it is to see our country slipping into total decay, soon we will all be hanging out at the traffic lights, choosing which car we like and which rich citizen to relieve of their hard earned electronic devices. So much more fun than shopping at Gateway, all you need is gun or two.

Well the real good news is that yet again, our justice system has failed us. I could be wrong, it could have saved us but my education seems to point the other way. When Julius Malema's fraud and corruption trial was postponed to June 20th, cause for celebration was achieved. Party party party, the elections are coming. Some of Juju's supporters who were outside the court made comments to the effect that he will one day be the President of South Africa, and why not, he has so much in common with the president we are enjoying right now, he would just slot right in, maybe just change a shower nozzle or two.

Anyway, I think the chances of the average crook are just getting going in South Africa, this could be our new national pastime. We could be world leaders in corruption and fraud with court dodging as a side order to the day. Hijacking could be weekend sport and entertainment and armed robbery could become an Olympic even, if we ever get to host the games.

But wait, don't get too despondent, Bheki Cele is on the rebound, the once top cop is moving up the ranks in the ANC here in KZN. Although he might not be the brightest candle in the candelabra, he certainly did take a hard line on criminals. Maybe we will get a Police Force again instead of a police service. Heaven knows we need it, the streets of suburbia are no longer safe.

Anyway our mayors aren't smoking crack cocaine like old Rob Ford of Toronto, he wont go, he thinks smoking crack and drinking like a shift boss is all in a days work when serving his community. Hell we haven't even started with that yet. We still have a long way to go. Just think how easy it will be to make movies, soon we will be able to string up a few cctv cameras and bingo we will have our own sitcom. People being ripped out of their cars, handbags emptied on the pavement, what a wonderful spectacle that will be.

So ask the question then, go on. Where to from here? Straight to the ballot boxes boys, the tide is in favour of a new beginning for this country. But who?
