Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull seemed to leave Lewis Hamilton idling on the way to Les Combes in the first lap of the Shell Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps this weekend.

Vettel went on to dominate the race till the flag came out, confirming that Red Bull will not be slacking off the pace in their bid to take both championships of the season again this year.

Fernando Alonso must have steel cahonies as he fought from ninth position on the grid to take second place on the podium.

Red Bull Racing's Sebastian Vettel extended his bag of points to 197 while Ferrari's Fernando Alonso moves into second place with his 151 points. Lewis Hamilton, holds onto third with 139 and Kimi Raikkonen lies fourth on 134. Red Bull's Mark Webber is lying fifth with 115 points.

In the constructors' championship it is still Red Bull all the way with 312 Merc has 235 while Ferrari claims second place with their 218 points.

The next Formula 1 race day is Sunday 8th of September at none other than Autodromo di Monza, in Italy.
